There is a show on the Discovery Channel called The Greatest American.  Thomas Edison is on the list so everyone should vote for him!  You can vote here: http://tv.channel.aol.com/greatestamerican   If you use text mesaging on the phone you can send the message "Edison" to 66913

What?? And waste my vote for Elvis?? :-D Just kidding.? Tom got my vote but it could be hard for him to win with the likes of Franklin and Einstein in the mix.? We'll see soon.

He came in at # 15.? I find it hard to believe that Ronald Reagan is in the top 5 and Edison didn't make it.? The rest of the top 5 I agree with.? Ben Franklin, M.L.King Jr, Abe Lincoln, and George Washington.? I guess this kills this thread, huh? :wink:

No, I can rebuild the thread, make it better!? It will never die HA HA HA HA!? (Ok sorry for the craziness, yeah I guess it's dead...)? I think he should have made it to at least the top 5!? I mean come on, if it were not for him you probably wouldn't be sitting in front of your computer right now.  There wouldn't even be a greatest american TV show in the first place without edison!
