comments
The uniquely colored porcelain switch pictured here is a product of Crouse-Hinds ("C-H" as it appears on the switch). Lamp sockets were also produced by the company with an identical appearance. The color green was also used in addition to the brown glaze used on this particular switch. It is unknown if sockets and switches in other colors were produced. This socket is simply marked "PATENDED" with no patent dates.
