The uniquely colored porcelain switch pictured here is a product of Crouse-Hinds ("C-H" as it appears on the switch). Lamp sockets were also produced by the company with an identical appearance. The color brown was also used in addition to the light greenish glaze on this particular switch. It is unknown if sockets and switches in other colors were produced. This socket is marked with patents dates ranging from 1911 through 1916. |
