The uniquely colored porcelain socket pictured here is a product of Crouse-Hinds ("C-H" as it appears on the socket). Drop switches were also produced by the company with an identical appearance. The color brown was also used in addition to the light greenish glaze on this particular socket. It is unknown if sockets and switches in other colors were produced. This socket is marked with patents dates ranging from 1911 through 1916. |
