For sale: Antique "POPEYE" filament lightbulb ca 1930's
« on: December 22, 2017, 04:40:22 pm »
I have a Popeye filament lightbulb I would like to sell to an interested collector.  This bulb was given to me by my mother who told me she acquired it  in the 1930's.  I tested the bulb very carefully with a connection to a lamp connected to a dimmer-switch.  I gradually increased the power to illuminate the bulb slowly.  This test worked very well and I was pleased at the resultant golden glow of the bulb; i.e., it still works very well.  I listed it on Ebay at $275.00 with many "viewers" and Several "watchers" but, alas no buyers.  A prior Kilokat's forum listing (circa 2003) indicated it "...may sell for $150.00 to $300.00 or more."  Is anyone interested in this bulb @ $125.00?
I also need to know how  to conclude a transaction; i.e. buyer pays via PayPal?
Alas, it appears that I am unable to attach photos due to file-size restrictions.

I'm not sure I understand your question.  The for-sale description addresses my Popeye bulb; i.e., it works.  If you are interested, I will be glad to answer your question.

I've banned and deleted user "Unwritter" as it appeared very suspicious..

Thank you for your action; I have no way to determine if an inquiry is sincere or malicious. Knomad
