LOL... title has been edited! I realized that "Got Some Christmas Lamps" was unintentionally misleading.... xD
Got a few typical bulbs for Christmas except for one... a 'cobalt-ish' tipped carbon lamp with what I like to call a "vortex" filament. I've seen it used in North American (NALCO) bulbs but it seems to bear no resemblance to their lamps.
The glass color is lighter on the bottom (base) half of the bulb and the tip is uncolored.
Most interestingly (at least to me) is that the bottom of the threads have a Nov. 8, 1904 patent date stamped in them. I would try to search for the patent but since Google revised their patent search engine, it's !&#@ impossible!

Dont miss the 'ears' on the support stem.
This bulb runs super hot (even for a carbon) and was definitely not designed for decorative use!
