MAZDA 25W candelabra globe
« on: December 27, 2006, 03:59:21 pm »
This was in the box along with the ON-A-LITE sockets I got yesterday. What year were these made, and how common are they? Rated 25W/125V.  I suspect prewar, but not exactly sure when. Bulb functions with a nice bright light, as seen below. Frosted coating is on outside of bulb and is chipping away in places.

all i know is that the Mazda trademarked name was droped by both westinghouse and General Electric(the owner of the trademarked name) after world war two, so that at least means that it was produced prior to 1945.
