Hi everyone.
I would like to tap into your knowledge about a very old bulb I stumbled into and bought recently.
It has the westinghouse base, plaster, with the 3 loop type of carbon filament. It is in very nice display condition, but the filment is open.
My question is about what is has on the label. It says Edison Jr. and has "imported" on it, along with smaller type for CP and volts.
Would that have been Edison's son? and why imported? From what I know about the looks and contruction, it must be from around 1890, so that is why the Edison Jr. label confused me.
Of course, I'm writing this from work and do not have a picture available to attach, but could get one if that would help put a handle on this.
Thanks, great site!
Byron
P.S. see note below, the label says improved, not imported - sorry.
