That’s hilarious!? Made even funnier by the question!? Who in their right mind would buy that lamp for 10k, or 30k for that matter!?

Quote from auction:
Quote
Reason for selling:

Over the years, light bulb collecting has really picked up.? Many laughed at a few of us at first, but now we are finally getting the attention and respect that we deserve.? We now have thousands of light bulbs in all shapes and sizes and just do not have room for this one on the wall.? Plus with this being a one of a kind collector’s item, we felt that selling this would give us the money needed to put on an addition to our house to showcase our light bulb collection.? Ideally, we would like to open a light bulb museum featuring the history of light bulbs around the world.

Putting the seller’s sarcasm aside, he probably isn’t aware that people do in fact collect light bulbs and museums do exist featuring light bulbs!?

Yes Yoshi, I kept track of the auction. (I'm not sure why) :|

The questions and answers were quite entertaining.? As it turned out, the auction appeared to be a ploy to get people to use his new vidio description service in their auctions on e-bay.? There were no bidders.

In one of the questions someone said "who are you kidding?? Nobody collects lightbulbs." :-D :-D :-D

Hey, here's a golden opportunity to ask silly questions like those in the auctions mentioned above? :-D

Starting price: $3,999.95 (duro-test bulb in bad shape)

Still only $3,999.95  - seems like a bargain compared to the $30k & $100k bulbs.  I'm surprised, no bids yet  :-P
