Exhaust tips on T 1-3/4 bulbs.
« on: April 09, 2009, 10:00:37 am »
I am trying to get information on the T 1-3/4 bulbs used in early miniature Christmas Lights. Early bulbs had the exhaust tip drawn out into a point, as seen at the left.
Then the design was changed out of safety concerns to the short ball tip seen at right. The tip style was changed sometime from early 1960s to late 1970s.
Does anyone have an exact date or more information on this?
