Super long tungsten lamps....

I promised James some close-up pictures of a Linolite lamp I recently bought, I thought others might be interested so I'll post them here. I'm comparing the Linolite with a similar Mazda bulb of about the same length (11") The camera caught some weird reflections from the Mazda's filament but you can get an idea of what the coil shaped filament looks like hopefully:

Wow! Both of those lamps are interesting to me because i've only ever seen lamps like that with straight filaments. The supports in the Lino tube look curiously similar to sections cut out of chicken wire!
