Hi,

Yes I am interested in selling. I posted a few photos of some of the items yesterday in the for sale forum. I do not know what the bulb is worth. I would like an honest fair price. From what I am told it is very rare.

Thank you'

Tom

For Sale / Trade / Antique Edison Bulb and other Edison related items
« Last post by maize on February 22, 2018, 03:04:34 pm »
I obtained these items from an Edison family member. Their Great Grandfather worked at the Edison Lamp Company. I am open to offers as I do not know the value of the bulb but I understand it to be a very early bulb. Also the photographs are from the Lamp factory from the 1880s and are original and large. I have 2. I am an autograph collector and in 30 years plus have never seen an Edison signed check with an image of his early bulb. They are non existent in the collecting field. I am also open to offers on the check. Please no low ball offers on these items. They are rare and deserve the finest of collections. Please see attached photos. Thank you. Tom

I'm not sure I understand your question.  The for-sale description addresses my Popeye bulb; i.e., it works.  If you are interested, I will be glad to answer your question.

General Discussion / 4v 0.75a osram small edison screw bulbs
« Last post by Marks n Sparks on February 21, 2018, 12:58:01 pm »
I have a couple of these bulbs and cannot find what they would have been used for. At 4v i would expect them to have be used with an old 2 cell accumulator like a miners or railway lamp but why such a large thread? They have a small slightly mushroomed envelope, about the size of the small car/motorcycle indicator but mushroomed. I haven't been able to identify there use by searching the internet, apart from curiosity it would seem a shame to bin them if some one some where could use them. Anybody any ideas?
