Past Auctions
« on: December 16, 2004, 12:48:42 pm »
Hi Tim,
I like the new look!? I'm having a little trouble moving around but that's probably just me.? I'm at the age where when things change I'm lost for a while.

I like the idea of the "Past Auctions" gallery.? Of course, it all depends on what you mean by "a very small fee". :-D

Not having any idea what it takes to put together a site like this, I was wondering if it would be possible to put a "search" area in "past auctions".? So we could type in something like "edison base 1905" for example.

Keep up the great work,
? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?Tim

Hi Tim,

A search of some sort would be integrated into the past auction gallery.? Auctions could also be sorted and grouped together by seller and high bidder to make it more interesting too.? As for the fee, I’m still trying to figure out the best way to handle this.? The fee would probably be something like a $15-$20 yearly subscription.? If anyone would like to help contribute then I would give them free access to the gallery.? It is a time consuming effort and I could use some auction scouts :)
