Greetings! I had an antique dealer/friend bring me a bulb that I've never seen before and I'm having trouble finding anything about it on the net. It looks to be a remote switched 3-way carbon filament bulb. One of the filaments is unfortunately broken, the other is intact. The wires on the bulb socket snap off like buttons. The switch lists Harvey Hubbel Inc "May 8, 00" 1/2A, 125V Really neat looking bulb, does anyone here know any information about it? Thank you in advance!! Hello,
I am looking for a light bulb of the same period as in the photo. 4 - 8 volts.
dimensions: total height 4 cm, bulb diameter 2 cm, base diameter 1.5 cm.
If it doesn't bother you, please let me know if you suddenly come across a light bulb with such dimensions. And if, moreover, with the same shape of the flask, then it is simply wonderful.

Production of low pressure sodium lamps, sometimes known as SOX lamps, has so far as is known ended.
There are still lamps in the supply chain and on distributors shelves, but production has ended, presumably permanently. Phillips Hamilton factory in the UK was the last maker of these lamps.
Led retrofits are available and give a better but very different light.

Hi Forum members
Looking for some info.
I have two 1902 coronation light bulbs which still work! They are opal, one has an etching of Edward VII and the other of his wife Alexandria at their coronation. I have searched high and low and can find no reference to them. I want to sell them but have no idea what they might be worth or where would be the best place to sell them.
Hoping that with all the lightbulbs here you might have come across these. photo attached

I am trying to figure out what on earth these are for. I have over 2,000 of them. The only marking on the bulb is 98l 015 and on the box it has hand writing of 1-15 015 and l1-g98. There is also in handwritten text "oven Conditioned'. I sure could use your guys help on this. Thanks!

Sooo I have never seen a light bulb with what appears to have been hand soldered, solid wire filament and a hole in it. Does anyone have an idea what in the world this was used for? For the record, it still works, and it gets SUPER HOT, really quick. Thanks so much in advance for any information you can provide!!! I have pictures but this forum wont allow me to post them, too large I guess. Will send if anyone is interested.

Looks like a relatively high power carbon filament bulb. Known as a "concentrating filament" type.
Viewed from the correct angle, the filament appears to occupy a relatively small area.

Found this in an old barn, looking for any information I can get on it. I can't find any marking.
