THE LANGUAGES OF EDISON'S LIGHT
« on: October 20, 2001, 05:06:00 pm »
Has any one read the book "THE LANGUAGES OF EDISON'S LIGHT" by ? Charles Bazerman? Does this book have any good facts about Edison and his light bulb. Tomorrow will be the anniversary of the light bulb and has anyone read a good book on the light bulb that I might want to add to my library.

Hey Carl,

Although this isn't directly related to Edison, I am reading a great book right now titled "Tesla, Master of Lightning"  This is a new hardcover book that I just picked up at Barnes and Nobles on sale for $14.99 - a great deal!  This is a biography of Nikola Tesla, pioneer of AC current and of course his famous Tesla Coil.  The book relates some interesting encounters with Tesla and Edison including their first introduction to each other, and later their battles over alternating and direct current.  It's worth a visit to B&N if you have one nearby or maybe it's available on their website.
