Good news!
I'm just watching the bulb at live through the webcam.
However it seems like if their server were in troubles many times because I've unable to enter the page sometimes during the last weeks. Fortunately the bulb is still on as always

Earlier this week the Today show had a very brief mention of the Livermore lamp still burning. As I said, it was very brief, and no one on the show really said much of substance about it, other than thinking it has a carbon filament. No mention of the Shelby Electric Co. that I can recall. Did anyone happen to see this segment? It was pretty "light weight" in my opinion.

It must be anniversary time for the old bulb as I've been seeing a lot of newspaper press lately for the bulb and the fire station.  This is probably why the site has been bogged down...

Last week, "Televisi?n Espa?ola" did also a very short mention about the oldest bulb in the world, at least the oldest one still burning from 107 years ago. No more than 20 seconds, but it can be viewed hunging from the ceiling at the Livermore's fire station near the webcam.
At news they did mention about the lamp power of 4 watts but none about its voltage rating was said. They also said that the bulb are the main tourist attaction at the city of Livermore.
Undoubtely, they have been on celebrations, because that report seems to have been distributed from any news agency to all TV's around the world.
