or something like that ? .

In case anyone misses it- see this post in the christmas lights forum by Woody Bousquet.

Why not post a reply and say hello- or tell us a bit about yourself. Let`s find out more about our little community and perhaps how we all got interested in our collecting habits! Should be fun...

Hi Chris! Hi Tim! Hi y'all...

I've had a life-long love affair with the light bulb. It all started when, as a kid, I opened a flashlight, and with one battery, a peice of wire, and the bulb, made my first electric circuit. Soon, I was wiring together whole jumbles of lantern batteries and bulbs (blinker bulbs were my favorite!). I've moved onto electronics and, nowadays, computers too, but it's primitive simplicity of the light bulb that I enjoy the most! Just within the last year, I've started a serious collection of antique bulbs and related items.
It's the 'hunt' for these treasures that I enjoy most and am looking forward to more to come!

Welcome to our little board! Hope you find it interesting or useful- it`s always nice to see a new collector here   .

You`ll find most of us are friendly folks more than willing to share info and help each other out, although it does get a little (too) quiet now and then. Hopefully that will change before long....
