Title: Dim Bulbs
Post by: Poppa Bill bulbs on October 30, 2003, 11:42:00 pm
Hi Guys; I have a big collection of old light bulbs of all kinds. When I test them I always put them on a good old rotary dimmer.
I have quite a few with broken filiments but I would not throw them away. I would sell real good deal if any one wanted some. I had considered giving to a local Museum. I have never seen one in a Museum or any where else in this part of Canada.
It is to bad I didn't know any one saved H.I.D bulbs. Up until 5 years ago I was a service Electrician. The biggest one was 1ooo watts that is the only one I kept 1 of just to watch peoples jaw drop when they see it.

Hi,

I have a big collection of HID lamps, more than 1000 pieces. Many years I was alone only, now in world is more collectors of modern lamps, too. It was a pity lost TOO MANY HID lamps, that the progress is big. I have e.g. one of first commercial Lucalox lamps, Multi Vapor lamps etc. I think, that is important collect no only old lamps, but new lamps, too. Write to me, what is your collection and what is your interest, if you are specialised.   Stan
