I collect turn of the century electrotherapy wallplates and they use light bulbs as current limiters. On one of my wallplates the bulb got knocked so that the glass seperated from the plaster(?)that holds it in the screw casing (the part that screws into the socket). The wires from the casing to the bulb are still intact(so the bulb is still good, but loose). Does any one know how to reatach the glass to the plaster (Superglue?)?

Unless anyone else replys sooner, we use a type of ceramic caulk for repairing CYX (2,000w) and DPY (5,000w) lamps where the ceramic cracks or breaks away. I will find out what it is on monday if it is any help.
With such low wattage lamps, shouldn't they be vacuum? In which case, is it repairable, or worth your time instead of replacing the lamp with a new one?
Of course I am probably stepping on the antique lamp experts who know how to easily repair the lamp.
By the way thanks, I really enjoy this forum, even if I deal with more modern lamps usually.
