This bulb is approximately 11.5" long and 1" diameter. It was used as lighting in a head board which was built in a high school shop class in he 1950's. Assistance please with identifying the bulb... and are they available today?

It is called a "Lumiline" bulb and although I don't know if they are still manufactured and stocked by stores anymore -- they might be -- I have seen them on eBay from time to time. They came in different lengths and clear vs. frosted. I might even have some spares at home but they are not accessible now; let me know if you are unable to find one elsewhere.
