For Sale: A recently printed (May 2008), but not published, book titled 100 Notable Names in the History of the Incandescent Lamp. The intent of the book was to try to provide biographical sketches of some of those persons responsible for the advances made in this area of product development. The persons range in time from Sir Humphry Davy (1778-1852) to Edward Zubler (1925-2004). While sketches of many of the persons chosen were possible to write, in some cases little, or no, information was found. The book consists of 348 pages, of 8.5" x 11" double-sided sheets, with a coil binding. The book pages are in black and white - no color. The price is $20 plus $3.50 for shipping costs to locations within the continental United States. The book will be mailed at book rate (4th class). To order a copy, or to ask a question of the writer, contact Ed Covington, ejcov@frognet.net.
