Question about modern Xmas lights
« on: September 02, 2001, 04:24:00 pm »
Hi all,

first of all: Sorry that i'm posting this request here. I couldn't find an forum about the modern and actual christmas lightning anywhere. If anyone knows, please tell me.

talking about my request:
I have bought a light set here in winter 1999-2000.
It has 25 transparent colored c9 Bulbs. The very special thing at this set is: It works with 12 Volts!

There is a transformer with the set that makes our 230 volts down to 12. All bulbs are wired parallel at 12 Volts. bulb has 12V / 1 watt.

I bought this as the last package the seller had at a christmas market. Unfortunately, the guy wasn't on the market anymore last year so I couldnt ask where he got them from.

I've been searching the Internet from them without success. There are no c7 or c9 lights for 12 volts.

QUESTION: Anyone knows where to buy them?

thanks so much for every response

Bye
Andy
