Japanese Michie Lamps
« on: August 12, 2000, 07:33:00 pm »
Hello Folks, I am wondering, do any of you have the above lamps? Earlier this year I got some old light bulbs that were made in Japan, probably before WWII. These I have are high wattage lamps, 200 watt medium based ones (some clear, some frosted) and 300 watt mogul based ones (all clear). As I said in my other post (see Meridan lamps) these and my Dim-Brite lamps (I have a bunch of them) all have the Jaeger exhaust tubes, which are L-shaped. Are they rare or what? I know a few collectors who have the Dim-Brite lamps, but haven't seen any of the Michie lamps other than the ones I have. Any reply would be great.
