I`m having problems posting messages/replies

Tim:
Hi Chris,

I've been messing around with some stuff on the site - the gallery program specifically, maybe my being in there uploading and downloading is affecting the board. Probably not but anything's possible. Let me know if the problems continue. Lots of weird things going on lately with the programs I'm using.....

Well all those replies of mine I couldn`t see last night. The first posting was there but every time I replied they didn`t appear. I tried playing with my sig. file (correcting an error I made when changing it recently) but still they weren`t appearing. My replies to the recent posting in the christmas lights forum didn`t appear either (both times- hence there`s 2 replies), I guess I`ll be able to see them now.

It may be something to do with my computer too. It`s Way past it`s use-by-date (Santa- are you listening?!!), and there`s so much stuff running on it right now including a live streaming webcam, so maybe it was my end that was misbehaving? It`s under a lot of pressure, sometimes it just can`t cope!

Chris W. Millinship:
Now that is strange. I just came out of this test messages forum (having got directly in by clicking the link in the email reply notification I got) and all the yellow "new posts" bulbs were on, and the "announcements" icon was showing new announcements too. But in the individual forums no folder icons were red indicating a new post, even though I distinctly saw a couple of new messages posted there!

Strange things are happening, let`s hope it`s nothing serious....

Hmmmm, got me baffled. The only think I can think of is hitting "refresh" to make sure you are seeing the most up-to-date page, but you probably tried that I'm sure. Another thing you can try is deleting your cookies pertaining to the forum. Cookies are used to control the on/off light bulbs, etc. See:

Anyone else out there having trouble seeing their post or reply messages???
