Hi all,
My name is Alec and I am UK based and work for a specialist lighting distributer. We supply all manner of Lamps and Lighting Control Gear lighting to UK electrical wholesalers and specialist users (Hospital operating theatres, TV studios, Theatres, Airfields, etc, etc).
I found this site whilst hunting for an old Mazda Lamp and must admit was immediately hooked.
Although my 'knowledge' is basically on modern lamps and gear (I have been in the business since the early 90's), I do always enjoy the challenge of trying to track down old or obsolescent items and find the whole subject fascinating.
I hope to make some useful contributions and be a productive part of this community.
