Unknown string of C6 lamps
« on: October 02, 2002, 11:21:00 pm »
Found 3 strings of C6 lamps in the trash a month ago, but am unsure of the date/brand. The sockets are bakelite, but the cords themselves are rubber. the plugs are nonpolarized with a socket on the back of the plug for plugging in additional strings into the back of that string's plug. all 3 strings are in working order (the 3rd after a lamp replacement). Anyone have any ideas as to when these were made? Also, has anyone ever heard of "Queen Lites" lamps? i have a small pack of Queen lites C6 replacement lamps(japanese)that I recently found in the local goodwill store. the original price tag is marked: "Newberrys 47-1-71" (has 25 stamped over the 71 on the tag)
