Title: The Economical

Hello,

I’m looking for information on an interesting lightbulb I received today.? The bulb in question is called “The Economical”.? What makes it interesting to me is that it has a switch on the base, normally operated by two pull strings that either lights a large filament or a small filament in the bulb.? ?It still works fine.? The box says patent June 30, 03 for style 1 and for style 2 the patent is June 11, 1901.? I believe this to be a style 1 bulb, if I can go by the pictures on the box.

I’m looking for information on this bulb and possibly others like it.? Would anyone happen to know of either books or websites that might shed more “light” on this item.

It's a kind of Hylo-Economical Lamp.
