test for light strings
« on: January 04, 2005, 10:21:55 pm »
I have been trying to determine which of my light strings are composite and which are bakelite and while repairing a string today found a simple test. bakelite is non souluable (sp) to any chemicals, but composite seems to be souluable to common rubbing alcohol. thought this might help in the identification between the two.
yes this is Jonathan Cassiday how may i help you
