« on: November 17, 2010, 09:23:21 pm »
the id'ing of this bulb maker will help me in my research into an early 1900's German medical apparatus that the bulb was part of ... the stamped info. " V.V. 230 - 3 in a circle - 16-110 - 340 "

any information will be greatly appreciated.

I have one light bulb with a base that looks like your light bulb, but I do not know more than that they are very old and probably made in Europe

"V.V.G. was a cartel of German, Swiss, Dutch, Austrian-Hungarian, Swedish and Italian electrical companies that competed against the other cartels. The largest was a cartel between the German AEG, the Amercian GEC and the British/French Thomson Houston companies. The only other large cartel was Internationales Galvanosteginsyndikat. These three cartels covered the globe."
