Old CFL's wanted
« on: September 23, 2005, 07:11:52 pm »
It seems that I've ended up collecting compact fluorescent lamps...not totally sure how that happened...but I like 'em...so might as well stick with it!  Especially now that I've got my little online exhibition of modern lighting technology online fairly well established.

I used to have an old Philips SL*18 - but it was lost when we moved house (I still reckon someone broke it and decided that no one would notice if it vanished...yeah...right...), and would very much like to replace it.

Another one I'd be interested in is the early Thorn 2-D style plug in retrofit unit (the one with a ballast unit you plugged into a lampholder, and the tube separate that plugged into that).

Any older (pre-1995ish) CFL's looking for a home?  Let me know!
