Found fixture and odd bulbs.
« on: May 16, 2007, 03:45:21 pm »
Hello all,
I found 2 of these fixtures yesterday. I don't know what I am looking at as far as age, perhaps early 30's? I have never seen bulbs shaped like this. I checked 6 bulbs with an Ohmmeter and only one showed good. I have not checked the others. They are GE 50 watt bulbs.

I included 3 pictures here, and the rest are linked to save space on the site.
This is probably something not too spectacular, but for me it was an unusual fixture and bulbs. If I were to have left them in the thrift shop, they surely would have got broken.
Thanks in advance guys.
Gary Rabbitt.
