Title: Edison fluoro tube

I Found an old fluorescent tube in my uncles garage, I collect mainly fluoro tubes, when i read the printed label it read EDISON 40W then it had the GE logo it was made in the USA, its burnt out and no longer works properly it only flickers when placed in a fixture, I was wondering if anyone can help me identify how old it is and where exactly it was made.
