Title: Recently purchased bulbs

Here are a couple of bulbs you may find interesting.  The clear one has supports at the top.

Nice find.  The purple one is interesting.  I don't think I have any bulbs in the collection with that color.

I have a purple heat lamp bulb as well that is round with an exhaust tip.

Neat heat lamp, how many coils are in that filament?  It looks like a typical carbon looped filament in the photo, but I'm guessing there's extra coils in the filament that I can't see due to the angle of which the picture was taken.

Tim,
It is a double loop extra thick filament.  I found this years ago in a therapeutic lamp holder.  It gets hot very quickly.

The clear one reminds me too much to early Osmium lamps because those supports in the top of the bulb. Really curious details in a carbon lamp.
