Title: c-6 light bulbs
Post by: jonathan cassiday on May 07, 2008, 10:53:30 pm
I went to a local hardware store in search for pust button light switches but they only had the plates left, but i check back often becuase they buyout the old stock of other hardware stores in the area, so they always have NOS and hard to find parts for the home and power equipment. While there i was brousing other areas and found a display of christmas light bulbs for replacement, and there in the center were rows and rows of NOS miniture base bulbs of the c-6 variety. They were of the paramount and noma brands, mostly made in Hong Kong and Japan (respectivley) althought some of the Noma lights were from westinghouse in the 1960's import packaging. Curiously they were all green except for three packs of white (which contained both foreign and westinghouse lamps). I ended up buying twelve packs, but may go back for more. Always stocking up on christmas light bulbs, especially on thoses no longere manufactured. now its back to cleaning and restocking the christmas closet.
