Lion's Den Antiques
« on: November 13, 2012, 12:31:46 pm »
Went to look through Paul's usual stock of replacemement bulbs and replica matchless stars, only to find that all he's selling is old coins. Has he completely discontinued the sale of replacement bulbs for vintage lights??

Sad news.  I learned from another group that Paul is terminally sick and has closed his store permanently to spend his remaining time with his family.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you Paul.

I too am sorry to hear about Paul.

I've bought lamps from his eBay shop in the past, and have always found him to be very easy to communicate with, always very courteous.

I was in contact with Paul a couple of months before Christmas - 2012.  He told me himself that his days in the Christmas business were over because of a health crisis and that he'd planned to spend whatever time he could with his family.  He continued to list silver dollar coins on his site for a while, but then one day not too long ago the site was gone.  We can only hope that one day someone like him may follow in his footsteps.  There are big shoes to fill now....       Thank you, Paul - for everything.

I found Lions Den Antiques archived on the wayback machine. It is at:
http://web.archive.org/web/20030716225553/http://www.lionsdenantiques.com/
The website was active from 2001 to 2008. Just remember you can't buy anything from the site anymore.
That sure brings back memories. Thanks for keeping the lights glowing.

Here is the link to the ebay seller suzie--snowflake. Go To:

http://www.ebay.com/usr/suzie--snowflake?_trksid=p2047675.l2559

Be careful there is a suzie-snowflake and then there is a suzie--snowflake.
(Note the two hyphens)
The link I posted goes to the correct seller.
