Title: Shelby Light Bulb Help
Post by: Brock on December 03, 2017, 10:28:42 pm
I have recently purchased an antique shelby mushroom light bulb. When I saw it, the base looked quite odd. Doing some further research, I learned that my bulb has an edison - westinghouse base combo. According to the sites below, this Shelby was made in the late 1890's, the base of this bulb makes it quite rare. Since the Shelby Electric company was established in 1897, the bulb had to be manufactured from 1897 - 1899. I just need help pin-pointing specificaly when the bulb rolled off the line.
