Title: odd paramount string
Post by: Hemingray on October 07, 2002, 09:43:00 pm
I have a string of paramount lights, that seems like an odd duck to me. where most paramount strings contain 8 sockets, mine only has 7, and there are no gaps where a lamp was meant to go. any ideas?

If your light string uses the C7 1/2 bulbs (if one burns out the rest stay lighted) 7 lights on a string is standard. If it is a C6 bulb series string some one removed a socket or a mistake in manufacturing. You will shorten the life of the bulbs if it is a C6 series string.

it's a C7.5 string, works nicely, might just be that standard.

I noticed your nickname and looked to see that you also collect insulators. I have a small collection of insulators also.
