Title: Antique's Roadshow Edison bulb
Post by: Tim on August 03, 2005, 07:46:44 am
Hey Everyone,

I didn’t see this episode of the Antique’s Roadshow, but found this article on the PBS website.? The bulb in the article looks like a common 1929 Edison commemorative to me.? The exhaust tube in the bulb’s stem is even slightly visible, a sure sign this isn’t an original Edison.? Did this certified appraiser totally miss the mark here, or am I not seeing something???? Have a look:

What do you think?

I think if that one`s really worth $10 grand, then I have 8 more here, all different and in much better condition that I`d be more than willing to sell for that amount....
