Candlestick style flashlight ?
« on: February 15, 2001, 01:35:00 pm »
Has anyone out there ever seen a flashlight
of-sorts, made to look like a candle in a stand with a bulb where the wick should be ?
This thing has a very faint makers mark on it, and say's "Pat'd 1915". It takes two "C"
batteries that go into the "candlestick" from below, and there is a quarter-turn cover to retain them. a simple slide switch
turns it off and on. .........It looks pretty cool actually !

Yes, I have-but slightly different. The one I saw was built into a candleholder, and the handle was the switch-when you picked it up,it came on. I think it was from the 1920's or so.
