Title: GE "luminous radiator" bulb

I would like to buy a bulb for a GE "Electric Luminous Radiator" Type A45.  If anyone can suggest a source I would very much appreciate it.

Unfortunately, I don't have a photo.  This is a three bulb heater and one of the bulbs has "5250A" printed on its base.  The glass is frosted and measures about 9 inches long and about 2 1/2 inches in diameter.  The top of the bulb has a small nipple.

Also - does anyone have any idea when this might have been made?

Hi Bob,

These "sausage" heaters as they are sometimes called were made in the early 1900s in both Europe and the US. The frosted heater bulbs do show up for sale but are frequently quite expensive. One sold on ebay this past weekend for over $100 for just a single bulb. There is a high demand for them right now from people looking for replacements.
