Can anyone out there in light bulb land tell me how to obtain a photocopy of a very early English patent?

I would like to obtain a copy of the U.K. patent No. 10,919, issued Nov.4, 1845 to Edward A. King. Thanks.

Hi Ed, Sorry my book starts at 1909 to 1930 your patent dates well before these times hope you have better luck with Tims entry also thanks Tim that info will help me as well....best wishes....Peter.

For those of you who might be interested in obtaining an early patent out of the United Kingdom I add the following. I followed Tim's advice and contacted the Central Enquiry Unit. Because the patent is so old it was suggested that I contact the British Library, which provides a patent service. To contact by email type in: Patent-Express@bl.uk. The charge is ten pounds (about $14.71). They will accept Visa, MasterCard,as well as others. Or you can send a sterling check to The British Library.
