Does anyone know who rexgift is? I have seen two bulbs like that one (TH bulb pat. 1885) in the same condition but with heavy glass blackening sell for $22.50 and $3 respectively. I can't believe the final bid price!! I guess that would be a fair price IF the bulb worked.

This looks like a classic bidding war between two people, and probably nothing more.  Nice bulb but wow - that's quite a price!
