Unknown Bulb WYSDY - M code
« on: April 27, 2009, 05:57:31 pm »
I am not a collector.  I have a bulb that I found and do not know if it has value or if it is just junk to pitch.  It is about 5 inches long with WYSDY over a larger M on the glass.  Does anyone recognize it's model?

Hi, take another look -- that is probably a W (standing for Westinghouse) and the word is probably Mazda.

This is a common bulb and should be pitched if the filament is broken.  If it is intact, you have the first bulb in your collection.  It's not worth more than a few dollars, but it's a start :-)

You are absolutely right!  I guess, I need new glasses.
