Title: Hy glow
Post by: jonathan cassiday on January 16, 2007, 08:01:54 pm
does anyone know if and how Hy Glow was related to noma? I just bought a pack of 4 bubble lights in an Hy Glow package that are of the Noma biscuit type', but unlike the noma branded biscuits, these have a rounded light bulbs verses a flat toped bulb. three of the four have glass slugs in the tubes. I have read somewhere that Hy Glow was origanaly Hy G and that they manufactured lights under the Holly name , which latter relates noma rebranding leftver holly stock for resale as noma bubble lights but with the flat saucer type base( not a noma saucer) in the late 1960's and 1970's. i was just wondering if they maybe licenced the buscuit from noma or if this is not the correct package for the lights.
