Title: Light bulb with airplane inside of it
Post by: dee on December 30, 2010, 02:58:10 pm
I have a light bulb with a small airplane that lights up inside of it. Does any one else know of such a bulb and possible value of it? My Father gave it to me and we have had it as long as I can remember and I am 46. I would appreciate any information any one might have. It still would light up the last time I tried it. Thank you.

The bulb that I think you are referring to is featured in our gallery:

We do not do officially appraise items and we discourage visitors from merely using us as a free appraisal service. I or anyone else can give you a generalized figure but it won't mean that you couldn't sell it for much more or much less.

That being said, $20 feels like an honest price for a properly working example of this bulb.

Hey, I hit it right. Thankyou so much. The bulb is much more valuable to me for sentiment alone. It was such a source of fascination for us kids. Dad would only rarely turn it on for us to see . Worth more for the memory. Again, Thankyou. Dee
