are these lumiline bulbs burnt out?
« on: July 19, 2011, 02:43:04 pm »
I found 4 clear 60 watt lumiline bulbs the other day, but I have no socket / supply to test them on. 2 of the bulbs made a sound when I rotated them 90 degrees, so I had a look. On inspection, I noticed that on the 2 bulbs which made a sound, a small piece had broken off which was connected to the filament. However, it appears that the filament is still attached. Are these small broken peices just a support for the filament, or are these 2 bulbs definatly burned out. The image below shows the broken piece in the corner. Best!
