Title: The William J. Hammer Collection of Incandescent Lamps
Post by: Tim on July 30, 2000, 10:07:00 pm
Hello all,

I've just finished cleaning up a project I've been working on - digitizing William J. Hammer's New York Electrical Society lecture regarding his famous incandescent lamp collection. I had this book available for download but it was a huge file and not really particle to download. I've made it available for reading online and it loads up fairly quick since it's a normal web page. Have a look - it's great reading!

Hey Tim,
Great idea and very nicely done! But could you not have done it sooner? A couple of weeks ago I downloaded the PDF file version and it took over an hour on my desperately slow connection!!! But worth it- fascinating reading. On behalf of all bulbcollectors with old, slow PCs, Thank you!!

Chris,

As time goes on I will be converting all of the PDF booklets in the paper archive to this type of format but it won't be anytime soon. It's a long and tedious process.

Stay tuned!
