Need help identifying antique light bulb

Any help to date this bulb and manufacturer appreciated.

Tim:
This appears to be an automotive headlamp bulb that's missing its bayonet base.  Many of these bulbs were made by the McCandless Company.

This is what your bulb looks like with the base.
