found a bubbler bulb

Found this in a box of random (C6-9) bulbs, set me back $3 for the whole box. The lamp lights, however the tip of the bubbler tube was broken and all the fluid is out of it

Any idea where I could find another tube? or if anyone has one?

That`s a standard Noma Biscuit, very commonly found especially in that colour combination. Looks like it originally had orange methyl chloride in the tube. You can often find them on Ebay for not much $$$ - sometimes the versions with that flame-retardant additive show up in badly melted/distorted condition but with good bulbs and tubes. They sell for next to nothing and are a good source of spare parts - they are easilly picked apart and used to repair others like yours.

didn't see any parts-worthy bubblers on ebay, (none damaged, etc). Hoping to find a tube before christmas, as I plan on having this on my tree.

I'm always keeping an eye out for one. as for the rest of the bulbs, I obtained the following in the $3.00 box

10 C6 cones, GE/Westinghouse mixed colors
2 GE MAZDA C9 flame lamps
various C7 bulbs (GE, etc)
1 dark green MAZDA globe (see http://bulbcollector.com/gateway/Incandescent_Lamps/Christmas/1921-1930/image/xl0031.jpg&img=&tt= ). mine has MAZDA stamped into the side of the base.

All of the above lamps were tested upon obtaining, and I am happy to say that they all light nicely

Vial arrived this morning, and was inserted into the base without a problem. had to use a slight bit of hotglue on the bottom of the vial due to it being a slightly smaller diameter than the original. Lit the whole assembly up on my tester and all went well, the bubbling action started 30-45sec into operation

Good to hear it worked.? I'm glad that you could use it to bring your bubbler back to life.

While looking for this vial, I also came across a loose "crimped tube" vial.? These were used on some of the larger candelabra based bubble lights, ca.1970s.? Respond here only (no email please) if anyone has a need for one of these.
