I just got a lamp from a friend of mine, who found it at a garage sale.
I have no idea what kind it is, but i want to know.
There is a pic at www.execulink.com/~mistchef/stuff/lamp.jpg

There are no markings on it, except a "66" on the bottom.
Any help would be great.

Hard to say from my experiance, or lack there of.  Not my style either, but to each his or her own.  Would guess were I to, either late 30s to early 50s or 60s.  Shade doesn't really match the style of lamp.  But than again, It does in some ways like the trim at the bottom and the hue of the red accenting that of the green.  Base and scrolls, says it is of a more modern design from what I have seen.  Very odd design.  Definately makes a statement.  Will check some lamp catalogs from those times and the 50s, but probably will not see it.

Next guess, any takers, I want to learn.

Looks like something from the 30's or-so to me. The shade looks like it's in pretty good shape. Shades like that are hard to find in really good shape.
